Great entrepreneurs are always on a quest for more knowledge. While it would be great for the world to stop so we could read an entire book, attend a full-day seminar, or take a semester of classes - for most of us, learning can only happen while on the go. That's where podcasts come in.

But finding that perfect podcast, with over 750,000 shows available?

You might need some help.

And that's just what I'm here to do. Below are 10 of the best podcasts for entrepreneurs looking to up their marketing game.

Best marketing podcasts for entrepreneurs

  • Marketing School: Hosted by Neil Patel and Eric Siu this podcast will quickly give you marketing advice that is informative and immediately put into action! With over 1100 episodes there is a wealth of expertise available. Neil and Eric also take topic suggestions, which surely means they will talk about reputation management soon enough.
  • Social Media Marketing Happy Hour
Energetic and light conversation will give you a boost of energy when you listen to Traci Reuter and Dawn Marrs. Despite being called a “Happy Hour”, most episodes clock in at about half that time. Perfect if you only short spurts of listening time!
  • The Home Service Expert Podcast
Tommy Mello can tell quite a story. One of my favourites is how he generated $1,000,000 worth of revenue from a dedicated customer review strategy. On this podcast Tommy invites special guests to share their insights and experience in very captivating conversation. Powerful stories are a beautiful thing.
  • CEO Warrior
A podcast that's part lesson, part pep talk, and full of energy. Mike Agugliaro explores many topics on building a business, always with a mindset that the service industry needs to build one another up and not to let negativity derail your success.
  • Journey of a New Entrepreneur
A newer podcast on the scene, Bobby Walker takes you through a variety of topics that go beyond the X’s and O’s of a business playbook to the personal connections and emotional journey of an entrepreneur. Bobby Walker was kind enough to invite our CEO Lars Kristensen on for an episode.

Best niche podcasts for entrepreneurs in the home service sectors

  • Contractor Cents
Those in the HVAC industry could benefit from listening to a couple episodes of Contractor Cents hosted by Ruth King. I love the soothing audio book style delivery, too!
  • The Cleaner’s Blueprint
Dusty Bell interviews his guests in a manner that sounds like you are eavesdropping on a fascinating conversation between entrepreneurs. The experiences of his guests provide an entertaining story and a fertile ground for knowledge.
  • WCR Nation
Another easy listening podcast with an energetic host focusing on topics specific to window cleaners. I have even heard stories of cleaners listening to this podcast while actually cleaning windows!
  • Grow My Cleaning Company
When I first saw a recent podcast episode was entitled “Why Most Marketing Doesn’t Work” I almost removed Mike Campion’s podcast from this list. However, with his abundance of charm and explanation that no one marketing effort can stand alone, I was reminded why this podcast can be an excellent listen.
  • Lawn And Landscape Radio Network
Those that attend the GIE+Expo may already be familiar with the gang from the Lawn and Landscape Radio Network. All things green dominate this podcast, and with not too many episodes, you can catch up on the entire catalog.

Wild card podcast for entrepreneurs looking for a little more fire

  • The Contractor Fight
This podcast uses some foul language and a whole lot of aggression. If you like your business discussion with a side of energy drink and stiff kick in the rear, look no further!

I still have a more room on my playlist. Let me know of any podcasts you enjoy so I can give them a listen and add them to this list!
