Having a review block above your website fold, directly below your hero image will convert higher than having it further down the page.
The results from this A/B test were inline with our initial hypothesis in that having a review block just below the hero banner does help your website to convert higher than if it is further down the page. There was a 40% increase in the amount of conversions when the review block was directly below the hero.
These results outline the importance of having an element of trust for the user when they land on your website. It may be that seeing a review from a person who was once in a similar position as your potential customer is enough to entice them to book your services.
